Description
*Voyage Manager (Dry Bulk)*
- Reports to: GM Operations
- Location: Mumbai
*Responsibilities:*
1. Pre & post-fixture operations
2. Assist Chartering Department:
- Vessel specs, cargo capacity, performance history
- Voyage costs, port info, cargo hold readiness
3. Voyage Execution:
- Plan & order voyage, liaise with stakeholders (24/7)
- Monitor ship performance, receivables, claims
4. Bunkering & Optimization:
- Maximize cargo intake, optimize bunker
- Coordinate weather routing
5. Liaison & Administration:
- Negotiate agents, bill freight, review accounts
- Data management, record keeping
*Requirements:*
- 5-6 years commercial ops experience
- Seagoing experience (Dry Bulk management)
- Strong pre-fixture ops, negotiation, communication skills
- IMOS experience
- Proactive, collaborative, independent
