<p><strong>Responsible for the pre & post fixture operations of Dry bulk vessel(s)</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Minimum (5-6) yearsโ experience in commercial operations</p></li><li><p>Seagoing experience in the management position on Dry Bulk vessels.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Task and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1) Assist the Chartering Department in collating the information required by customers during the pre fixture negotiations.</p><p>The information required may include:</p><ul><li><p>Details of the vessel specifications o Cargo carrying capabilities o Performance history of the vessel</p></li><li><p>Assessing suitability for the trade & Vessel scheduling</p></li><li><p>Cargo hold readiness o Estimated Voyage Costs</p></li><li><p>Port specific information</p></li></ul><p><strong>2) Execution of Voyage:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Thorough in Voyage planning & voyage orders for Master, including maximizing on cargo intake and bunker requirements etc.</p></li><li><p>To liaise and coordinate with Brokers, Charterers, Owners, Agents, Internal departments on efficient & to facilitate execution of the voyage on a 24/7 basis.</p></li><li><p>Monitor ships performance at sea.</p></li><li><p>Liaising with accounting and preparing summary of outstanding, receivables.</p></li><li><p>Ensure collection of all receivables to improve cash flow.</p></li><li><p>Contest / defend and negotiate claims.</p></li><li><p>Though understanding of the voyage Profit & Loss account.</p></li></ul><p><strong>3) Bunkering & Vessel Optimization:</strong></p><ul><li><p>To ascertain that the vessel optimizes cargo intakes & to ensure vessel is sufficiently bunkered.</p></li><li><p>To coordinate with weather routing services & ensure vessel is following optimal sea route.</p></li></ul><p><strong>4) Internal & External Liaison:</strong></p><ul><li><p>To negotiate & appoint port agents, plan bunkers stem as per grades permissible to trading areas.</p></li><li><p>To bill for freight and other charterers claims and coordinate with post fixture group.</p></li><li><p>Post fixture inputs to Claims Coordinators</p></li><li><p>Review and approval of Port Disbursement accounts.</p></li><li><p>Record keeping and Data Management in company systems</p></li></ul><p></p>
