<p><strong>Experience Required:</strong></p><ul><li><p>1-2 years exp -shore based chem tanker operator experience preferred but that is not a restriction</p></li><li><p>Sound commercial awareness</p></li><li><p>Experience as a Master, Chief Mate, 2nd mate on Oil/Chemical tankers or a non- seafarer but with chem / veg oil operations experience</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with agreed charterparty terms</p></li><li><p>Communicate with charterers, brokers, agents and vessels regarding voyage orders and vessel itineraries</p></li><li><p>Monitor vessel movement and voyage performances</p></li><li><p>Review vessel stowage and tank cleaning plans</p></li><li><p>Oversee the fixing of freight charges and obtaining cargo space</p></li><li><p>Liaise with owners regarding oil major approvals</p></li><li><p>Protecting owners interest wrt ensuring cargo release against BL’s , LOI’s , operations covered under LOI’s , vessel readiness, compliance as per Charter parties etc.</p></li></ul><p></p>
