Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to manage and support our offshore fleet operations. The role focuses on ensuring vessel technical reliability, regulatory compliance, cost control, and close coordination with vessel management teams to maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage assigned offshore vessels to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations
• Review and approve technical requisitions and service requests
• Monitor and follow up on planned maintenance system (PMS) compliance
• Review month-end technical reports and provide actionable feedback
• Monitor lube oil analysis, machinery performance, and defect trends
• Develop and track defect rectification plans
• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag, and statutory requirements
• Support dry docking and major repair planning
• Maintain close coordination with vessel PICs, managers, and vendors
• Monitor vessel budgets and support OPEX control initiatives
• Conduct vessel visits and technical audits as required
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet reliability
• Shore Experience: Minimum 2 years managing offshore vessels
• Vessel Types: DP2 AHTS, PSV C above
• Regional Exposure: West Africa / KSA / UAE
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Age Profile: Preferably 35–40 years
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Additional technical or management certifications
• Working knowledge of Power BI
• Working knowledge of MS Project
• Experience handling multi-region offshore fleet
