<p><strong>ob Description</strong></p><p>About the Role</p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Technical Superintendent</strong> with 0–2 years of shore-based experience and strong exposure to <strong>Tanker vessels</strong>. The ideal candidate will have solid sailing experience and a good understanding of vessel technical management, maintenance, repairs and regulatory compliance.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Manage the day-to-day technical operations and maintenance of assigned <strong>Tanker vessels</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Monitor vessel machinery, equipment performance and planned maintenance systems.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Masters, Chief Engineers, Class, Flag, shipyards and service providers.</p></li><li><p>Plan and monitor repairs, surveys, dry-docking and major maintenance projects.</p></li><li><p>Ensure vessels comply with <strong>Class, Flag, ISM and statutory requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Monitor technical defects and ensure timely corrective action.</p></li><li><p>Review vessel performance, maintenance reports and technical budgets.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate procurement of spares, stores and technical services.</p></li><li><p>Conduct vessel inspections and follow up on deficiencies and recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Support incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Ensure effective communication between vessels and the shore-based management team.</p></li></ul><p>Candidate Profile</p><ul><li><p><strong>0–2 years of shore-based experience</strong> as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar technical role.</p></li><li><p><strong>Tanker sailing experience is mandatory.</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience on <strong>Oil/Chemical/Gas Tankers</strong> will be an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Candidates with previous sailing experience as <strong>Chief Engineer</strong> are preferred.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of marine machinery, planned maintenance, repairs and dry-docking.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with <strong>Class, Flag, ISM and statutory requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel for vessel inspections, dry-dockings and other business requirements.</p></li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li><p>Opportunity to work with a growing tanker fleet and gain strong shore-based technical management exposure.</p></li><li><p>Competitive compensation.</p></li><li><p>Performance-linked incentives.</p></li><li><p>Opportunities for career growth and progression.</p></li><li><p>Professional and collaborative work environment.</p></li></ul><p></p>
