<p>About the Role</p><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Technical Superintendent</strong> to manage the technical operations, maintenance, and performance of a fleet of <strong>Bulk Carriers</strong>. The ideal candidate will have strong seagoing experience as a <strong>Chief Engineer</strong> along with proven shore-based experience managing bulk vessels.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Manage the day-to-day technical operations of assigned bulk vessels.</p></li><li><p>Ensure vessels comply with <strong>ISM, Class, Flag State, and statutory requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Plan and monitor <strong>planned maintenance, repairs, dry-docking and surveys</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Monitor vessel performance, machinery reliability, fuel consumption and technical efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Masters, Chief Engineers, ship staff, Class, Flag, and service providers.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and manage technical budgets and control maintenance costs.</p></li><li><p>Handle defects, breakdowns and technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.</p></li><li><p>Plan and supervise dry-docking, repairs and major machinery overhauls.</p></li><li><p>Conduct vessel inspections and follow up on corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and technical standards.</p></li><li><p>Support procurement of spares and services while ensuring cost effectiveness.</p></li></ul><p>Candidate Profile</p><ul><li><p><strong>Chief Engineer sailing experience is mandatory.</strong></p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>3 sailing contracts as Chief Engineer</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>2 years of shore-based experience</strong> as Technical Superintendent or in a similar technical management role.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in <strong>managing Bulk Carriers</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of marine machinery, maintenance, dry-docking and vessel operations.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of Class, Flag, ISM and statutory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel for vessel inspections and dry-dockings when required.</p></li></ul><p>Why Join?</p><ul><li><p>Senior technical management role with a reputed maritime organisation.</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to manage a fleet of bulk vessels.</p></li><li><p>Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives.</p></li><li><p>Location: <strong>Noida</strong>.</p></li></ul><p></p>
