<p><strong>What you need:-</strong></p><p>• BE/BTech (Marine / Mechanical / Mechatronics) or MEO Class IV/III CoC</p><p>• 4–5 years' hands-on maintenance of heavy diesel engines —</p><p>marine or industrial/plant/EPC (gensets, heavy equipment, process plant)</p><p>• Proven engine-overhaul experience</p><p>• A genuine troubleshooting bent — diagnoses from first principles, not just</p><p>checklists</p><p>• Comfort with PLC controls and machinery electronics</p><p></p><p><strong>Preferred: </strong>Sailing / marine engineering background · ASD/CPP, bow thruster, DP</p><p> exposure · class survey and dry-dock experience · ONGC-charter / OSV operational</p><p> familiarity.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you'll do:-</strong></p><p>• Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance on main engines</p><p>(2,500–3,500 BHP), 400 kW gensets, and auxiliary machinery</p><p>• Coordinate and get hands-on with engine overhauls (Cummins / CAT / Wärtsilä /</p><p>Yanmar or similar)</p><p>• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and control-system faults to</p><p>minimise downtime</p><p>• Support ASD / CPP propulsion, bow thrusters, steering gear, and vessel</p><p>electronics</p><p>• Fault-find on PLC-based control, alarm, and monitoring systems; coordinate DP</p><p>and OEM specialists</p><p>• Manage PMS, spares, running hours; attend vessels for repairs, surveys, and dry-</p><p>docking</p><p></p><p></p>
