<p><strong>Minimum:</strong></p><p>Bachelor of Law from reputed University or college</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> </p><p>Minimum of 5-7 years of working experience in a law firm working for shipping, logistics</p><p>corporation.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Tasks:-</strong></p><p>• Drafting and vetting the agreements like- Container trading /leasing agreements,</p><p>Agency agreements or charter parties,slot agreements, Transport Agreements, Depot</p><p>agreements, Leave and License Agreement, Credit agreements etc.</p><p>• Helping with legal operational and documentation team by providing documents like</p><p>Letter of Indemnities, Shipping Certificate, Damage certificate, Bank Guarantee,</p><p>Vessel Certificate</p><p>• Drafting and vetting of legal notices and replies,</p><p>• Handling of Claims including cargo damage/ loss claims, delay claims etc</p><p>• Handling/Liaising with Lawyers & Third Parties for realization of money, for all group</p><p>entities</p><p>• Assisting procuring the Insurance Policies as per Business requirements</p><p>• Handling Insurance Renewals of all group entities</p><p>• Preparing and issuing Notices, including in cheque bouncing matters and</p><p>outstanding matters recovery</p><p>• Drafting and vetting of pleadings and court documents</p><p>• Appointing and liaising with Advocates within India and abroad and provide all sorts</p><p>of assistance to the Lawyers in handling the legal matters effectively</p><p>• Trademark - Group Company - following up on hearings, inquiries, filing applications</p><p>& arranging documentation for the same.</p><p>• Drafting of various Terms & Conditions, Documentation for the group companies i.e</p><p>Bills of Lading, Quotation, Release orders etc</p><p>• Reviewing contracts and BL terms on regular basis:</p><p>• Processing the Sanction check, SCoC and other legal documents and claims related</p><p>matter.</p>
