<p>At least 3 years of relevant experience. <br /><br />Preferred candidates who sourced for TANKERS</p><p></p><p>Location: Mumbai - Andheri</p><p> </p><p>Job description is as follows:</p><p> </p><ol><li><p>Sourcing for Officers, Engineers, and Ratings for vessels of our principals.</p></li><li><p>Check all documents, medicals, flag documents validity and ensure all documents are valid as per company policy and DGS requirements once seafarer is approved to join.</p></li><li><p>Contact seafarers and update their readiness dates in the company system.</p></li><li><p>Ensure seafarers signed contracts, certificates, medicals and all required documents are updated in their individual files in the company system prior to their joining.</p></li><li><p>Ensure seafarers fill in the necessary travel forms as per their domestic travel and joining port / airport requirements prior to starting their international travel.</p></li><li><p>To send newly approved seafarers the necessary correspondence and check and ensure all documents are valid and as per requirements. Open their new file in the company system. Update them about their joining plans.</p></li><li><p>Ensure online verification of documents is done.</p></li><li><p>Maintain direct and continuous communication with ASM regarding current and upcoming vacancies, crew planning, and any manpower requirements.</p></li><li><p>Actively develop and expand the sourcing role creatively, including proposing new recruitment channels, outreach methods, or process improvements</p></li><li><p>Monitor vacancy updates from ASM and ensure timely alignment with crew availability and readiness.</p></li><li><p>Take full responsibility for the ASM Welcome Package process, including:</p><ol><li><p>Preparing and updating package contents.</p></li><li><p>Coordinating distribution to joining crew.</p></li><li><p>Tracking receipt and following up for feedback and confirmation.</p></li></ol></li><li><p>Prepare crew for joining by ensuring they receive all necessary instructions, briefing, checklists, travel information, and company guidelines/SMS, verify understanding and readiness.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a proactive follow-up routine with seafarers post-approval to ensure no document or requirement is pending close to joining time + uploaded properly in PAL crew P/F</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain a creative candidate engagement system (WhatsApp groups, email series, local apps, recruitments campaigns etc.) to support seafarers before joining and strengthen retention.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with ASM to gather feedback on crew performance and joining quality, and report key trends to the Manager regularly.</p></li><li><p>Identify and implement process improvement opportunities in recruitment, documentation, onboarding, or data accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Support the Company in any other related tasks that contribute to a smooth and efficient recruitment process.</p></li></ol><p></p>
