<p><strong><em>We're Hiring: Sourcing Officer (Marine Recruitment)</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Location: Mumbai</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marine recruitment/crewing</em></strong></p><p></p><p><strong><em>About the Role</em></strong></p><p>• We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Officer with a strong background in recruiting seafarers for Tankers, Oil, and Chemicals Vessel fleets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing Officers, Engineers, and Ratings, along with excellent knowledge of maritime documentation, compliance requirements, and crew planning.</p><p></p><p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities</em></strong></p><p>• Source and recruit Officers, Engineers, and Ratings as per principals' requirements.</p><p>• Screen and verify seafarers' documents, certificates, medical reports, and flag-state documents to ensure compliance with company policies and DGS regulations.</p><p>• Maintain accurate crew availability and readiness records in the company system.</p><p>• Ensure all employment contracts, certificates, medicals, and joining documents are updated before deployment.</p><p>• Coordinate travel arrangements and required documentation for joining crew.</p><p>• Conduct online verification of certificates and seafarer documents.</p><p>• Liaise with ASM regarding vacancies, crew planning, and future manpower requirements.</p><p>• Monitor crew vacancies and ensure timely deployment of suitable candidates.</p><p>• Manage pre-joining formalities, joining instructions, and crew briefings.</p><p>• Follow up with approved seafarers for document submission and profile updates.</p><p>• Develop innovative sourcing strategies through social media, WhatsApp groups, email campaigns, and other recruitment channels.</p><p>• Build and maintain strong relationships with seafarers to improve engagement and retention.</p><p>• Collaborate with ASM to gather feedback on crew performance and recruitment effectiveness.</p><p>• Maintain recruitment reports, crew databases, and manpower planning records.</p><p>• Support management with additional recruitment and crewing-related activities.</p><p></p>
