QUALIFICATIONS • Sailing background as 4 th/3rd Engineer. • LNG / LPG Ships experience preferred. • Shore experience in similar role will be an advantage. EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE • Understanding of Technical operations on ships. • Understanding of fuel Optimisation and performance management. • MS Office – Excel, Word and Power Point. • Computer skills – programming, BI will be preferred but not mandatory. • A team player with excellent cultural understanding and awareness.RESPONSIBLE FOR • Data Management • Client Management • Fuel Optimisation of designated vesselsRESPONSIBLE FOR • Data Management • Client Management • Fuel Optimisation of designated vessels Task and Responsibilities 1) Cargo Management a) Understanding LNG cargo and optimization methods of BOG. b) Evaluate cargo performance data with the goal of reducing cargo loss onboard vessels and conduct root cause analysis for variance in cargo. c) Prepare and maintain cargo claim status for each voyage. d) Understand machinery and their working to maintain LNG onboard 2) Data Management a) Ensure timely reporting and maintain ship’s Noon reports: i) Liaise with vessel for maintaining error free reporting system. ii) Ensure timely reporting by the vessel. ii) Analyze the trend of errors and keep a record of number of errors addressed on weekly / monthly basis. b) Maintain data of allied processes. 3) Performance Management a) Analyze performance of the vessel (At Sea, In Port) as per the terms and share the reports with clients. b) Evaluate fuel performance data with the goal of reducing fuel consumption onboard vessels and conduct root cause analysis for variance in fuel consumption if reported or beginning to trend. c) Prepare and maintain TC vessel claim status for each voyage. 4) Admin work scope a) Process optimization/development – help in continuous improvement in the team’s various processes. b) Maintain the performance portal and attend to customers’ queriesc) Participate in the development of performance management tools. d) Conduct training of ship staff regarding performance analysis and reporting. 5) Process improvement & development a) Participate in new Product and service development. b) Explain technical insights to technical/ non-technical groups and collaborate crossfunctionally across time zones. c) Assist in automation of manual data processes and ensure continuous process improvement while working within the team to support the development of the next generation application/user platform.
