<p>As an Operations Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless order</p><p>fulfilment for clients by overseeing safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of vessel</p><p>operations. <strong>Managing a fleet of 3-5 vessels</strong>, you will work closely with the Technical, Fleet Personnel, HSEQ, and Chartering teams to ensure voyages are completed as planned and in full compliance with charter party requirements.</p><p></p><p>Reporting to the Group Head – Operations, the role requires ensuring that all assigned</p><p>vessels remain cargo-worthy, seaworthy, and commercially ready at all times, while</p><p>upholding the highest standards of safety, operational excellence, and regulatory</p><p>compliance.</p><p></p><p>Education</p><p> Master Mariner</p><p></p><p><strong>Relevant Experience</strong></p><p> <strong>Minimum 2 years of command experience on Product Tankers, Crude Tankers, or</strong></p><p><strong>Chemical Carriers (preferably foreign-going vessels).</strong></p><p> Zero to 2 years of shore-based experience in a relevant operational role.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>1. Marine Operations & Commercial Support</p><p> Monitor daily fleet movements and vessel operations to ensure efficient voyage</p><p>execution and timely port turnarounds.</p><p> Ensure strict compliance with charter party terms and conditions.</p><p> Coordinate with port agents, terminals, and authorities to optimize cargo operations.</p><p> Advise Masters on cargo planning, vessel stability, cargo segregation, and safe</p><p>stowage practices.</p><p> Provide operational support to maximize vessel utilization and commercial</p><p>performance.</p><p>2. Health, Safety, Environment &amp; Quality (HSEQ)</p><p> Support and monitor implementation of the Company&Safety Management System</p><p> Coordinate with vessel Masters to ensure navigation and cargo operations are</p><p>conducted safely and in accordance with Company procedures, statutory regulations,</p><p>and industry best practices.</p><p> Promote a strong safety culture across the fleet.</p><p>3. Incident & Emergency Response</p><p> Serve as a key member of the Company&#39;s Shore-Based Emergency Response Team (ERT).</p><p> Provide operational support during emergencies and critical incidents on a 24/7</p><p>basis.</p><p> Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and implementation of corrective actions.</p><p>4. Crewing & Shipboard Guidance</p><p> Provide nautical and operational guidance to Masters and Deck Officers.</p><p> Review performance of senior deck officers and identify development and training</p><p>needs.</p><p> Conduct pre-joining briefings for Masters and Chief Officers, particularly for</p><p>specialized trades, routes, and charterer requirements.</p><p>5. Financial & Technical Liaison</p><p> Monitor and control operational expenditure within approved budgets.</p><p> Coordinate closely with Technical and Fleet Personnel teams to ensure operational</p><p>readiness and timely resolution of vessel-related issues.</p><p> Manage operational expenses, including charts, publications, and other voyage-</p><p>related requirements.</p><p></p><p>Compensation :</p><p>Competitive and aligned with market standards.</p><p></p><p></p>
