<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>5 years’ experience</strong> in marine victualling, ship supply, procurement, or maritime catering.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with a ship owner, ship management company, marine supplier, or victualling company is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of international procurement, supplier management, and maritime logistics.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:-</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage end-to-end procurement of victualling requirements for the fleet.</p></li><li><p>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with global and local victualling suppliers/ ship chandlers to obtain the best quality, pricing, and service.</p></li><li><p>Review vessel requisitions and coordinate timely deliveries with Masters, Chief Cooks, port agents, and suppliers.</p></li><li><p>Monitor vessel victualling budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain an approved supplier database and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures, food safety standards, and applicable maritime regulations.</p></li><li><p>Resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues promptly to support uninterrupted vessel operations.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, contracts, and management reports.</p></li><li><p>Analyze purchasing trends and recommend improvements to optimize procurement efficiency and crew satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for the Company’s in-house victualling operations.</p></li></ul><p></p>
