<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Studies, Shipping, Safety Management or related discipline.</p></li><li><p> Basic understanding of offshore vessel operations and maritime safety requirements.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with the ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL and MLC 2006 is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, particularly Word and Excel.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>5 years of minimum experience in marine operations, shipping, QHSE, vessel documentation or a related field.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with offshore support vessels, including DP2 vessels, will be an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to vessel audits, inspections, marine documentation or statutory compliance is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with OVID inspections or charterer QHSE requirements will be an added advantage.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Assist in maintaining the Company's Safety Management System (SMS), including manuals, procedures, forms and QHSE records.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support compliance with the ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC 2006 and applicable DG Shipping requirements.</p></li><li><p>Maintain statutory certificates, QHSE records and vessel compliance documentation.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with vessels to obtain safety reports, drill records, training records and other QHSE documentation.</p></li><li><p>Assist in planning and coordinating internal audits, vessel inspections and client or charterer audits.</p></li><li><p>Support OVID and other marine assurance inspections by preparing documentation and following up on observations and corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Track audit findings, non-conformities and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.</p></li><li><p>Maintain records of incidents, near misses, safety observations and lessons learned.</p></li><li><p>Assist in incident investigations by collecting information and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.</p></li><li><p>Support vessel readiness for charterer inspections and operational compliance requirements.</p></li><li><p>Assist in monitoring environmental compliance, including pollution prevention, waste management and environmental reporting.</p></li><li><p>Prepare monthly QHSE reports, safety statistics and compliance summaries.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with vessel personnel, Marine Operations, Technical Department, Classification Societies and regulatory authorities as required.</p></li><li><p>Perform other QHSE-related duties assigned by the Marine QHSE Superintendent.</p></li></ul><p></p>
