<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Preferred Graduate in any discipline.</p></li><li><p>Diploma/Degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, or HR is an added advantage.</p></li><li><p>2–5 years of experience in Marine HR, Crewing, or Seafarer Recruitment.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of maritime regulations and certification requirements.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills Required:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong knowledge of crew sourcing and recruitment.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with STCW, MLC 2006, and maritime certification requirements.</p></li><li><p>Good communication and negotiation skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Office and crew management software.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent crew changes.</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail and documentation management.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Recruitment & Sourcing</strong></p><ul><li><p>Source suitable officers and ratings through crew databases, job portals, referrals, manning agencies, and industry networks.</p></li><li><p>Maintain an updated pool of qualified seafarers for various vessel types.</p></li><li><p>Screen applications and verify experience, certifications, and vessel suitability.</p></li><li><p>Conduct preliminary interviews and assessments of potential candidates.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Masters, Fleet Personnel Managers, and Technical Managers regarding crew requirements.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Crew Planning & Deployment</strong></p><ul><li><p>Monitor crew change schedules and upcoming vacancies.</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely sourcing and availability of relief crew.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate joining arrangements and documentation for selected seafarers.</p></li><li><p>Maintain crew rosters and manpower availability reports.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Documentation & Compliance</strong></p><ul><li><p>Verify Certificates of Competency (CoC), STCW certificates, medical fitness, visas, passports, and other mandatory documents.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with Flag State, Port State, MLC 2006, STCW, and company requirements.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate crew records in the crewing management system.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Seafarers Coordination</strong></p><ul><li><p>Liaise with seafarers regarding employment opportunities, joining instructions, and documentation requirements.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with travel agents, training institutes, and manning agencies as required.</p></li><li><p>Support internal and external audits related to crewing and recruitment.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Database Management</strong></p><ul><li><p>Update and maintain crew databases and sourcing trackers.</p></li><li><p>Generate recruitment and crew availability reports.</p></li><li><p>Build a talent pipeline for future vessel requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p>
