Marine Electronics & Automation Engineer in Navi Mumbai

Qualifications: Qualification Requirements Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the marine or offshore industry. Hands-on experience with marine automation, electronic equipment, and vessel control systems, particularly on boilers and Inert Gas Systems is preferred. Technical Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of marine electronics, automation, and control systems. Proficiency in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electronic, electrical and PLC-based equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, wiring diagrams, and control schematics. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as in team-based environments. Willingness to travel and work onboard vessels as per operational requirements.

Description

Key Responsibilities Conduct onboard vessel inspections, commissioning, and service activities as required. Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of marine electronic and automation systems such as Boiler, IGG etc. Support installation and configuration of control panels, sensors, transmitters, PLC-based systems, and monitoring equipment. Ensure compliance with marine safety standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures. Maintain service records, calibration certificates, and technical documentation. Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Work Location & Travel Base location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra Travel to vessels and client sites as required
