<p><em>Job Title:</em> Legal Counsel - Shipping Claims</p><p></p><p><em>Job Summary:</em></p><p></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Shipping Claims team. The ideal candidate will handle shipping law-related queries, disputes, and claims involving our company.</p><p><em>Key Responsibilities:</em></p><p>- Analyze case papers and prepare legal advices</p><p>- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties (lawyers, P&I Clubs, etc.)</p><p>- Assist in reviewing and negotiating charter party terms</p><p>- Stay updated on maritime law developments</p><p>- Report to Manager-Legal Counsel on claims status and litigation</p><p><em>Requirements:</em></p><p>- LLB (LLM preferred) and qualified lawyer</p><p>- 2+ years of experience in shipping claims handling</p><p>- Strong English language skills and research abilities</p><p>- Proficient in MS Office and internet</p><p><em>Desired Skills:</em></p><p>- Maritime law knowledge and experience</p><p>- Shipping industry understanding</p><p>- Team player with attention to detail</p><p></p>
