<p><strong>Qualification and Experience:-</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Chief Officer certification is mandatory.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Sailing experience on tanker vessels is required.</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience in HSSEQ, preferably within the maritime or offshore industry.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of international maritime regulations, industry standards, and safety management systems.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:-</strong></p><p>Promote a Strong, Proactive Safety Culture</p><ul><li><p>Ensure the Client’s Safety Culture is promoted and maintained to the highest possible standards across all locations.</p></li><li><p>Actively engage with employees on HSSEQ-related issues.</p></li><li><p>Participate in and provide input to HSSEQ-related meetings and inspections.</p></li><li><p>Promote the application of Client Control of Work processes and safe working practices.</p></li><li><p>Implement and promote the Client’s Key Behaviours of Great Safety Leaders.</p></li></ul><p>Analysis and Reporting of Performance Data</p><ul><li><p>Provide insights through analysis of relevant HSSEQ performance data.</p></li><li><p>Support programs aimed at addressing and improving performance.</p></li><li><p>Identify performance trends and propose corrective action plans and improvement programs.</p></li></ul><p>Incidents and Emergencies</p><ul><li><p>Support BU Cluster emergency response activities in both actual and simulated emergency scenarios.</p></li><li><p>Provide HSSEQ-focused support during investigations of accidents, incidents, and high-potential near misses, where required.</p></li><li><p>Support the timely publication of HSSEQ bulletins and alerts.</p></li></ul><p>Continual Improvement</p><ul><li><p>Identify opportunities for the development and enhancement of HSSEQ systems and programs.</p></li><li><p>Deliver initiatives that improve engagement in HSSEQ activities.</p></li><li><p>Support the identification and implementation of technological innovations in HSSEQ programs and systems.</p></li></ul><p>Compliance and Certification</p><p>Support the BU Cluster HSSEQ Manager to ensure:</p><ul><li><p>Customer relations and satisfaction are maintained to achieve flawless service delivery.</p></li><li><p>Timely completion of all required audits and inspections, including retention of associated certifications and licenses.</p></li><li><p>Relevant standards, procedures, and best practices are correctly implemented and adopted.</p></li><li><p>Minimal legislative, operational, and administrative non-conformities.</p></li><li><p>The management system meets the requirements of all stakeholders, and proposed amendments to internal documents are effectively communicated to relevant Group function heads.</p></li><li><p>BU Cluster-specific management system content is compiled or amended, and submitted for closure where required.</p></li><li><p>All findings and actions are effectively managed and closed within agreed timeframes.</p></li></ul><p>HSSEQ Support</p><ul><li><p>Provide sufficient, timely, and efficient administrative support to the BU Cluster HSSEQ team.</p></li><li><p>Act as understudy to the BU Cluster HSSEQ Manager, ensuring resilience within the function and supporting personal growth and development.</p></li><li><p>Participate actively in shore-based and vessel-based safety meetings to encourage constructive discussion and management engagement.</p></li></ul><p>Development and Evolution</p><ul><li><p>Identify opportunities for growth and development within the HSSEQ function.</p></li><li><p>Support the evolution of HSSEQ practices in line with organizational objectives and industry advancements</p></li></ul><p></p>
