Description
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Crew Manager to support end-to-end crew management for assigned vessels and customers. The role involves crew planning, deployment, performance management, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers and vessels on crewing matters.
* Coordinate crew changes, rotations, and mobilization for assigned vessels.
* Work closely with manning offices to source and deploy qualified seafarers.
* Monitor crew performance, appraisals, and career progression.
* Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company policies, and customer standards.
* Manage crew budgets, payroll inputs, contracts, and cost reporting.
* Handle seafarer claims, grievance processes, and P&I cases when required.
* Maintain accurate records for contracts, crew planning, audits, and payroll.
