Description
Work with the Fleet Personnel Manager and in close liaison with the Technical & Marine HSEQ teams for company’s managed vessels with special focus on personnel planning, competence, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of the vessel and crew remains the highest priority at all times.
Support the Fleet Personnel Manager in managing all crew-related matters across assigned vessels.
Coordinate end-to-end crew travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transportation, visas, and work permits, in collaboration with Masters, agents, and crewing partners.
Verify and maintain crew certifications and documentation, ensuring full compliance with flag state and regulatory requirements.
Process and manage applications with various flag administrations.
Prepare and administer Seafarers Employment Agreements (SEA) and Project Crew Employment Agreements.
Ensure all crew members join vessels with valid documentation and in compliance with company policies and Dangerous Goods (DG) requirements.
Maintain compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and commercial standards.
Monitor and manage crew appraisals and performance records.
Oversee crew operations and requirements for assigned vessels.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew records within the Crew Management System.
Assist in monthly crew payroll processing, including validation of allowances, deductions, claims, and timesheets.
Manage medical P&I cases, including documentation, invoice follow-ups, and coordination with P&I Clubs.
Issue sea time confirmation letters as required by crew members.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
