<p>About the Role</p><p>An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced maritime professional to join a leading global organization in the shipping industry as a <strong>Crew Management Partner</strong>. This role serves as the key link between seafarers, fleet management teams, crewing operations, and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient crew management, workforce planning, compliance, and service delivery across assigned vessels.</p><p>The successful candidate will take ownership of crew operations, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and workforce planning while supporting high standards of operational excellence and seafarer welfare.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Crew Management & Service Delivery</p><ul><li><p>Ensure all crew management activities comply with applicable maritime regulations, statutory requirements, and company management systems.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with fleet management and marine HR teams to deliver crewing services in line with client agreements.</p></li><li><p>Act as the primary escalation point for crew-related matters and coordinate effective resolutions with relevant stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and deliver agreed service levels and operational KPIs.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and complete crewing records using designated digital systems and platforms.</p></li></ul><p>Crew Planning & Workforce Management</p><ul><li><p>Support seafarer engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain effective crew rotation plans for assigned vessels.</p></li><li><p>Identify and source qualified candidates through existing crew pools and recruitment channels.</p></li><li><p>Manage workforce planning activities, including crew pool balancing, surplus management, and resource allocation.</p></li><li><p>Support vessel transitions and fleet takeovers through strategic crew deployment.</p></li><li><p>Assist with career development planning, appraisal processes, and performance monitoring.</p></li><li><p>Identify retention risks and implement proactive solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders.</p></li></ul><p>Budget Management & Operational Efficiency</p><ul><li><p>Own and manage vessel crewing budgets, including annual planning, forecasting, reporting, and reviews.</p></li><li><p>Provide insights on wages, benefits, and crewing costs to support financial planning activities.</p></li><li><p>Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.</p></li><li><p>Deliver regular performance and budget reports to stakeholders.</p></li></ul><p>Compliance, Industrial Relations & HSSEQ Support</p><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and industrial relations obligations.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate urgent crew changes and critical vacancies using available seafarer resources.</p></li><li><p>Support investigations related to crewing incidents and assist with implementing corrective and preventive actions.</p></li><li><p>Maintain high standards of data quality and support audit and quality assurance processes.</p></li></ul><p>Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement</p><ul><li><p>Participate in business proposals, onboarding activities, and service implementation projects.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including seafarers.</p></li><li><p>Promote crew management services and support continuous improvement initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to process enhancements and digital transformation projects.</p></li><li><p>Deliver insightful client reports and performance analyses using digital tools and reporting platforms.</p></li></ul><p></p>
