Description
<p>In this role you will lead a small bunker operations team based in Mumbai as well as</p><p>supporting and managing the end-to-end operational execution of bunker deliveries,</p><p>deepen your operational expertise, contribute to process improvements and expand</p><p>regional specific knowledge.</p><p></p><p>You will work closely with traders, suppliers, agents, surveyors, and internal teams to</p><p>ensure smooth, timely, and compliant bunker operations while proactively managing</p><p>operational risks.</p><p></p><p><strong>Operational Coordination & Communication</strong></p><p>• Establish early and effective communication with all stakeholders involved in</p><p>bunker deliveries.</p><p>• Coordinate and track supply schedules, including ETA updates, berthing</p><p>information, and delivery progress.</p><p>• Provide timely and accurate operational updates to the Trading team.</p><p>• Actively monitor operations on the day of delivery to ensure smooth execution.</p><p></p><p><strong>Risk Management & Issue Resolution</strong></p><p>• Proactively identify operational risks such as supply restrictions, port limitations,</p><p>or adverse weather conditions.</p><p>• Immediately escalate and communicate any issues before, during, or after</p><p>delivery to relevant stakeholders.</p><p>• Support post-delivery follow-ups to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.</p><p></p><p><strong>Documentation & Compliance</strong></p><p>• Collect and review all supply and delivery documentation upon completion.</p><p>• Assist the Accounts team by providing complete and accurate documentation</p><p>for invoicing.</p><p>• Support the Claims team with investigations and dispute resolution when</p><p>required.</p><p></p><p><strong>Stakeholder & Relationship Management</strong></p><p>• Assist with the appointment and coordination of agents and surveying</p><p>companies.</p><p>• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, agents, and surveyors.</p><p>• Act as a reliable point of contact to ensure operational alignment and service</p><p>quality.</p><p></p><p><strong>Reporting & Monitoring</strong></p><p>• Provide daily weather updates relevant to ongoing and upcoming operations.</p><p>• Ensure accurate record-keeping and attention to operational details.</p>
