<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise</p><p>in .NET Core and SQL Server. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and optimizing backend services and business applications.</p><p>The candidate will also be responsible for supporting application deployments and</p><p>infrastructure through DevOps practices, which is a mandatory requirement for this role.</p><p></p><p><strong>Educational Qualification</strong></p><p>B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science / Information Technology</p><p>or</p><p>B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core /</p><p>ASP.NET Core.</p><p>• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.</p><p>• Design and implement business logic, workflows and integrations.</p><p>• Work extensively with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, queries,</p><p>stored procedures, views and performance optimization.</p><p>• Analyse and optimize application and database performance.</p><p>• Integrate applications with internal and external systems through APIs and other</p><p>integration mechanisms.</p><p>• Work closely with Angular developers and Business Analysts to deliver end-to-end</p><p>application features.</p><p>• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.</p><p>• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.</p><p>• Design solutions keeping scalability, security, maintainability and performance in</p><p>mind.</p><p>• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.</p><p>• Maintain technical documentation for applications and integrations.</p><p>• Support application releases and production deployments.</p><p>• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.</p><p>• Monitor application deployments and resolve deployment-related issues.</p><p>• Work with development, infrastructure and business teams to ensure smooth</p><p>releases.</p><p><strong>Mandatory Technical Skills</strong></p><p><strong>NET / Backend</strong></p><p>• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.</p><p>• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.</p><p>• Strong experience developing REST APIs / Web APIs.</p><p>• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design</p><p>principles.</p><p>• Experience with authentication, authorization and API security concepts.</p><p>• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.</p><p><strong>SQL Server</strong></p><p>• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.</p><p>• Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, joins, subqueries and complex data</p><p>manipulation.</p><p>• Strong experience in developing Stored Procedures, Views and Functions.</p><p>• Experience in query optimization and database performance tuning.</p><p>• Understanding of indexing, execution plans and database optimization.</p><p><strong>DevOps – Mandatory</strong></p><p>• Practical hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.</p><p>• Experience setting up and maintaining build and deployment pipelines.</p><p>• Knowledge of source-control systems such as Git.</p><p>• Experience with automated application deployment.</p><p>• Understanding of environments such as Development, UAT and Production.</p><p>• Knowledge of application monitoring, logging and deployment troubleshooting.</p><p><strong>Good to Have</strong></p><p>• Working knowledge of Angular / TypeScript.</p><p>• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure.</p><p>• Experience with Docker/containerization.</p><p>• Knowledge of messaging systems and third-party API integrations.</p><p>• Experience working with ERP, finance, logistics or enterprise applications.</p><p>• Understanding of microservices architecture.</p><p></p><p></p>
