<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:- </strong></p><p>• 5+ years shore experience in handling underwater services including operations, vendor management and customer relations</p><p>• Sailing background as 4th/3rd Engineer</p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:-</strong></p><p>• Understanding of technical & commercial operations on ships, especially related to turnaround time and underwater services</p><p>• Understanding of fuel optimisation and performance management.</p><p>• Strong operational planning and coordination skills.</p><p>• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.</p><p>• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</p><p>• MS Office – Excel, Word and Power Point.</p><p>• Leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.</p><p><strong>Task and Responsibilities:-</strong></p><p>• Underwater end to end operations</p><p>• Client Management</p><p>• Vendor management</p><p>The Assistant Manager – Underwater Services is responsible for supporting in the planning, coordination, execution, and performance monitoring of underwater service operations and sharing the operations load to ensure workload management of the team.</p><p>The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, service quality, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives.</p><ul><li><p>Ensure timely execution of underwater inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, and other diving-related services for operations being handled themselves and guide the team for the operations being handled by them.</p></li><li><p>Support resource allocation, manpower planning to ensure all enquiries are handled promptly and communication with customers, dive team, agents and all other concerned parties as required is seamless and without any unusual delays</p></li><li><p>Monitor ongoing projects and ensure adherence to company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.</p></li><li><p>Monitor job profitability and assist in controlling operational costs</p></li><li><p>Promote a strong safety culture among operational teams and subcontractors</p></li><li><p>Vendor management - expand the existing underwater diving team vendor database and ensure it is timely updated on the dashboard</p></li><li><p>Expand the existing list of ports/areas where we can assist our customers with underwater operations and ensure it is timely updated on the dashboard</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely processing of invoices and receipt of payment from customers/payment to the diving teams to avoid unusual delays</p></li><li><p>Timely arranging the annual meetings with the diving teams to discuss the business and performance during the year and extend the list of diving teams with contracted rates to ensure larger reach out around the globe.</p></li><li><p>Assist the Performance Manager in implementing performance improvement initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Business development - to get new clients for underwater services</p></li></ul><p><strong>Team Development:-</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide guidance and support to team members.</p></li><li><p>Assist in training and development of team members to improve technical and operational capabilities.</p></li><li><p>Encourage accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the team.</p></li></ul><p><strong>KPIs:</strong></p><p>• Compliance with safety and quality standards.</p><p>• Service completion within agreed timelines.</p><p>• Operational efficiency and resource utilization.</p><p>• Customer satisfaction and retention.</p><p>• Revenue and profitability of assigned operations.</p><p>• Reduction in operational errors, delays, and non-conformities.</p><p>• Accuracy and timeliness of reporting, documentation and invoice processing.</p><p>This position serves as a critical link between field operations and management, supporting the Performance Manager in achieving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth within the Underwater Services division.</p><p></p>
